Study trip: “On the traces of the Shoah in Poland”: Summer 2016
The Auschwitz Foundation is proposing a new study trip, parallel with its annual trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau. From 11 to 18 July 2016 in French and from 15 to 22 August in Dutch.
We will visit the five other extermination centres – Chełmno, Majdanek, Bełżec, Sobibór and Treblinka –, as well as the corresponding cities and places of deportation, in an historical and pedagogical perspective, and drawing on testimonies, maps and photographs.
To ensure the success of the trip, we are organizing two training sessions on 23 April and 11 June 2016 (in Dutch) and on 16 April and 4 June 2016 (in French). As the project deals with another facet of the Shoah with which we are less familiar in Western Europe, attendance is required before setting off on the study trip.

The people who are interested may sign up to the information meeting held on 27 February 2016 (in Dutch) and on 20 February 2016 (in French) without necessarily committing to the trip (no payment will be accepted before this date).
