Study Visits to Auschwitz-Birkenau

In 2016 the Auschwitz Foundation and the Remembrance of Auschwitz will organize its 39th annual study visit to the camp during the Easter holidays. The visit will last five days, from Monday 28 March to Friday 1 April.

The Foundation wishes to pay a major educational role in warning the youth of today against the dangers of the far right, of racism and of antisemitism. At a time when all traditional values are being called into question, it is important to make young people aware of these problems.

More than 2,000 teachers and other education professionals have already taken part in a study visit. The intense emotion generated by a confrontation with the sites themselves and testimony of the survivors is carefully directed towards reflection and analysis during the seminars held during the visit.
